the entire return is sent as 1 electronic file. there's no way to just file schedule C electronically. on the other hand if you're getting rejected, post the entire rejection message and code and perhaps we can help.
Why do you need to file a schedule C? Didn't you include it in your personal 1040 return? Then you need to amend your tax return to add it. Or why do you want to file schedule C separately? You might be trying to do the wrong thing or way.
It says to unlink w-2 form from schedule c but I have no w-2 forms to unlink as i have no w2 forms
Can you post a screenshot (without any personal information) so we can see what you are experiencing? You may have a W-2 that transferred over from last year? To see all of the W-2 included with your return, search for W-2 in the search box and use the Jump to W-2 link to be taken to a list of W-2s. If you see one that does not belong there, use the delete button or trash can icon to remove it.
It says "SCHEDULE C LINE 1f W-2 CANNOT BE REPORTED ON THE SAME SCHEDULE AS OTHER BUSINESS. EITHER REMOVE ANY AMOUNT ENTERED AS STATUTORY EMPLOYEE INCOME OR UNLINK THE W-2 WORKSHEET FROM THIS COPY OF SCHEDULE C AND LINK TO ANOTHER SCHEDULE C"
I DO NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO AS I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING THE PAST 8 HOURS. I HAVE NO W-2 FORMS TO REPORT AND NOW-2 WORKSHEET AND IT WILL NOT LET ME SEND IT ELECTRICALLY UNTIL THIS IS CORRECT. I HAVE USED TURBO TAX FOR OVER 12 YEARS AND HAVE NEVER HAD THIS KIND OF SITUATION
The statutory employee designation is picked up off the W-2. Double check your entries. It may be somehow that this was triggered. If you can't resolve it, you would need to delete the Schedule C and redo it.
Here's the general procedure for viewing the forms list and deleting unwanted forms, schedules, and worksheets in TurboTax Online:
Open or continue your return in TurboTax.
In the left menu, select Tax Tools and then Tools.
In the pop-up window Tool Center, choose Delete a form.
Select Delete next to the form/schedule/worksheet in the list and follow the instructions.
