I have tried at least 25 times to put in my account and routing number into the South Carolina tax forms so I can electronically file my state taxes. It keeps having me put in my account and routing number, looks like it accepts it, then it comes back and says I am still lacking the information for direct deposit.
I have put it in when it showed it was missing on the "final check". I have added it and added it to the worksheet with the forms. It has come up one more way to ask for the information, and I entered it yet again.
I have twice now contacted Turbotax about the problem. I can see on-line that it is not just me with the problem. The people trying to help me were VERY nice, but utterly clueless about the problem. I even asked them if Turbotax itself hasn't given them any type of "heads up" on this problem. I see in SC website that the "tax worksheet" is unsupported. Would that cause the problem? If so, how can it be corrected, please? Absolutely any genuine help would be appreciated.
I know it isn't my computer because I electronically filed my son's taxes for SC and he has already got his refund. I have been trying to electronically file mine since about two days after I filed his. The system took my federal taxes electronically and have been accepted. Just can't get the system to take my SC.
PLEASE, any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.

You may have some forms that your son didn't have that aren't ready yet.
The IRS started this tax season pretty far behind. That kind of delay flows down to the states. So the IRS finalizes their forms and then the states finalize their forms. And then the TurboTax programmers get the forms and have to integrate them into the TurboTax program. Then there is testing to make sure that the newly added forms work with the program properly. Then they are rolled out to the public. As inconvenient as the waiting is it will still get your tax return processed faster than paper filing it.
Here is a list of state forms that aren't ready yet and a schedule of when they will be ready.

Robert, thank you for your prompt response. I really appreciated your answer.
The form that is unsupported is the Info Tax Worksheet. When I went to go mail my paper copies of the SC taxes at the Post Office, the postal clerk commented that ALOT of people are having the same problem this year and are having to mail in their taxes instead of being able to electronically file them.
Knowing this problem, you would think that South Carolina would make the form "supported". It is available just not supported.
Thank you again for your assistance.
