Why can't I e-file my South Carolina taxes
I have tried at least 25 times to put in my account and routing number into the South Carolina tax forms so I can electronically file my state taxes. It keeps having me put in my account and routing number, looks like it accepts it, then it comes back and says I am still lacking the information for direct deposit.
I have put it in when it showed it was missing on the "final check". I have added it and added it to the worksheet with the forms. It has come up one more way to ask for the information, and I entered it yet again.
I have twice now contacted Turbotax about the problem. I can see on-line that it is not just me with the problem. The people trying to help me were VERY nice, but utterly clueless about the problem. I even asked them if Turbotax itself hasn't given them any type of "heads up" on this problem. I see in SC website that the "tax worksheet" is unsupported. Would that cause the problem? If so, how can it be corrected, please? Absolutely any genuine help would be appreciated.
I know it isn't my computer because I electronically filed my son's taxes for SC and he has already got his refund. I have been trying to electronically file mine since about two days after I filed his. The system took my federal taxes electronically and have been accepted. Just can't get the system to take my SC.
PLEASE, any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.
