State Forms Availability Table for TurboTax Individual (Personal) Tax Products
There is no reason to rush and e-file now. The IRS is not accepting 2020 returns until February 12, 2021.
I am ready to e-file my return using TurboTax Free File, but I'm told that Ohio forms are not ready. I asked to be notified when the forms are available. Ten minutes later I receive an email saying that all forms are ready. I return to TurboTax and they still aren't ready in the software. This has been happening to me each day for the last free days. Either the forms are ready and there is a bug in the online software, or the forms are not ready and I shouldn't be getting this email.

After getting this email, I still have the same message in TurboTax online.
As I said, if the forms aren't ready, I shouldn't get the email. If the forms ARE ready, then I should be able to e-file my return.
Most of the Ohio forms are not ready until the 11th, and the IT-40 is not yet available for e-file. Check this link for the availability for e-file and other forms that may apply to you. Once the page opens, simply click Ctrl +F to find a specific form easily.
