$600 sounds like for the second Stimulus check.  Did you get that one?  You only get a Refund if you have more tax withholding taken out from your pay than the tax on your income.  It's good to come out about even.  You don't owe the IRS and they don't owe you.  That means they didn't hold your money all year.
