which turbotax type do I use if I have farm income

I'm not sure what you mean by a TurboTax "type." Are you asking what version of TurboTax you need? If you use TurboTax Online you have to use Premium to report farm income. If you use the desktop TurboTax software you can use any edition, but Home & Business will give you more help and a more detailed interview for reporting your farm income.

With TurboTax Home & Business, select the Business tab at the top (instead of the Personal tab).

At the first screen, "Let's gather your business info", scroll down to Farm Income and Expenses. Click Visit All, or click Start next to Farm Income and Expenses.
