Can someone help me understand the fallout from the TurboTax debacle of 2014?
So back in 2014, after 15 years of using this product, I installed the Deluxe version and learned it no longer supported the basic Schedule C with home office deductions that it use to. It was horribly miscommunicated at the time, however Intuit ended up offering a reimbursement to upgrade to Home & Business that year. 2015 rolled around and I used the Home & Business, paying the extra cost difference from Deluxe which in prior years had handled everything I needed.
Now here we are in 2016. It seems that Deluxe now supports what I need, but it isn't really clear in any of their product version comparison information that I can find. It seems like they have rolled the features back into the Deluxe version, but I can't find any direct statements indicating that has actually happened.
How exactly do I figure out if I can "downgrade" to the Deluxe version this year? I expect to file all the same schedules and forms as last year.
