I don't understand this. "... for a state refund, don't enter this here". I have a 1099-G and I don't know should I enter this here?
1. The 1099-G income is reported as Unemployment income. 2. Can you clarify what you mean by "deduct"- personal investment income?
If your PUA is reported in Box 1 of 1099-G, you will enter it here. The 1099-G repots payments by a state or local government and you must enter it in the correct place for TurboTax to report it correctly.
Why does the PERSONAL sector ask to enter 1099-NEC again while the BUSINESS sector already asked to enter it? I'm self-employed, I receive 1099-NECs, and I already entered it into the BUSINESS sector. What should I do here?
If you entered your 1099-NECs under the Business tab then you don't have to enter it under the Personal tab.
Some people receive 1099-NECs for income that may not qualify as a business, such as a hobby, so TurboTax has a 1099-NEC in the personal tab.
I applied my over payment 2021 state taxes ti 2022 Estimated Taxes. I received a 1099-G. Do I enter the 109-G information on my Fed tax return?
Where is here?
The Form 1099-G for state refund is reported in a different area from the other 1099-G’s.
Your 2021 refund applied to 2022 should have carried over.
