Where on a Farm Schedule F do I report loss of cows? We had 4 cows die this year.

Where on a Farm Schedule F do I report loss of cows? We had 4 cows die this year.
If they were born on the farm, there is nothing to deduct.
They were born on the farm, so you paid $0 for them. You can't deduct something that was never paid for.
If you had bought them, then they should be treated as depreciable "Assets", and you would go into that "Asset" to tell the program about the loss of that Asset.

Were they purchased and listed as assets? Or were they born on the farm?
