Where is a breakdown of State Taxes before filing? "Explain my taxes" in the upper left corner only breaks down Federal

I can't find anywhere online that shows the breakdown of State tax i'm due to pay before filing.  It's so incredibly odd that "Explain my taxes" in the upper left of the screen only shows Federal.  I am due tax from Feds but I owe State.  So i need to compare why these are different.  Should be easy to see a summary.  I don't see anywhere that shows any State summary at all.

Click on Tools

Click on View Tax Summary

Click on the State Tax Summary on the left side of the screen, right below Preview my 1040

@paul-j-heckman Since you are using the TurboTax online editions you do not have direct access to any forms, schedules or worksheets.  That option is only available when using the TurboTax desktop editions in Forms mode.

For the state return there should be an Income Worksheet where all the state income is listed.  The only way for you to view that worksheet is to pay the TurboTax account fees before filing.  If that is not an option for you at this time, then it would be best to go back through the state tax return from the beginning to see if you can locate this amount in the state program.

To pay the TurboTax online account fees by credit card, without completing the 2022 return at this time, click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen. Then click on Print Center. Then click on Print, save or preview this year's return. On the next page, to pay by credit card, click Pay Now. The next screen will show a review of your Fees, click on View payment options. Complete the credit card section and click on Review your order.

so if i pay the **turbotax online** fees before filing, then i can view all of those forms/worksheets/breakdowns, correct?

can i also make the "investment income" election then with my qualified dividends if i pay ahead with the online version?

i definitely appreciate your help, thanks!  not certain why the online version seems to be so much clunkier than desktop...

Yes you can view/print/download all the form, schedules, worksheets and information only pages of your tax return after the TurboTax account fees are paid.

Use Print Center and then the option for all worksheets.

You can continue any section of the online tax return after payment of the account fees, to make any changes, additions or deletions on your tax return.

okay thanks

so the "make an investment income election" with qualified dividends *is* available in the online version then correct?

Because multiple others had responded to me before saying it wasn't.  but you seem to be noting it is, and basically every option is available online that is also available on desktop, but you just have to *pay* for online first to access all the options

that's a very big difference/distinction, so i just want to make sure i get that right (because i don't want to pay for/download the desktop version)

much appreciate your help here
