Where do I add a corrected 2017 w2 my employer sent

If the W-2 is form 2017 make sure you are reporting it on your 2017 return instead of your 2018 return. Also, make sure that you do not file the original W-2 along with your corrected W-2. The W-2C replaces the original return. 

You enter your W-2C in the same input area that you enter your W-2 forms. Follow the directions below to enter your W-2C into TurboTax.

1. Log in and click take me to my return (unless already in).
2. Click the Federal tab from the left side of the screen.
3. On the next page, click Show More and Start/Revisit beside Wages and Salaries.
4. Once you've entered the W-2C, you'll be shown a screen with a list of Uncommon Situations, where you'll check the box for corrected W-2.
