The link provided does not work. My spouse's employer is verifying dependents and has asked for a copy of Confirmation of filing. I jhave no idea what that is and have not heeard back from them.
Does such a thing exist and can you tellme how to print it?
The link provided does not take me to a page taht asks for the informattion cited.
I am trying to obtain a conformation of filing. Can you help with this?
If you used the online program AND you did not save a PDF of the return with the worksheets BEFORE 10/31/22 THEN you will have to wait until the 2022 online program opens up in early December to get the PDF with the worksheets included.
Show him the email confirmation ... that should work for now until you can get the PDF in a couple of weeks.
I did savea .pdf but I see nothing that identifies itself as a Confirmation. Can you give me some information that will help me to identify it. I searched the .pdf file but that did not produce any results.
Once you get them printed (or created as a PDF file) Look thru it for a sheet labeled "Electronic Postmark - Certification of Electronic Filing" .
That sheet tells you when you E-filed your "Federal" tax return electronically, and when it was accepted.......assuming you did file electronically and not by mail.
