Do a quick Google search. TurboTax screwed us! H&R Block and this raggedy TurboTax had some type of issue, BUT H&R are going out of their way to correct the issue. TurboTax is doing the blame game with the IRS. We are not getting a second stimulus and will have to claim it months from now on our 2020 taxes. I know those 2020 taxes WILL NOT BE DONE USING TURBOTAX!!!!! There are far too many other tax services to use this mess again. I pray everyone else who said used them in the past will also walk away.
turbotax told me this is not their responsibility so we have to do it ourselves. they say it's the IRS not them although most non-turbotax people have receivved theirs
try calling their support, you have to pay to do it!
A friend of mine used H&R block. He called them and they explained how when you use the services and you elect go have them take the fee out of the return irs sends the money to a general account. IRS must have sent the stimulus money to that account. The diff is H&R block made it right and sent him his money

I also have not received 2nd stimulus and just read a news article on CNBC.com stating that there is an issue with 2nd Stimulus payments for people who filed through Turbo Tax or H&R Block. The status on the IRS Tracking site says "Payment #2 Status not Available". I had no issues receiving the first stimulus payment it went in right away and all bank information is exactly the same. H&R Block has made statement on twitter and is going out of their way to get it resolved and help people with getting their refund asap. Turbo Tax is doing nothing!!! Its obvious its an issue with Turbo Tax and the IRS system so Turbo tax needs to fix it! This is ridiculous we all needed the money 6 months ago!
8 years with them. I am finished. I predict they are losing all kinds of business now. I am so angry. i have been on hold with them for 4 hours now. They were also supposed to call me back and never did.
I have been using turbotax for about that amount of time as well. I do all 3 of my children taxes this way too. Guess I'm not the only point that will be using a different site this year. TurboTax should definitely be trying to figure out a way to rectify this, purely from a business stand point alone. They are losing customers.

I wondered the same thing. I checked my 2019 tax return and found the account listed on my return was indeed where our stimulus payment was sent. We elected to have fees pulled from our return. Below is the last page of our return. I do believe this LLC should be held responsible, and we will no longer use Turbo Tax. We already felt cheated with our last return and all the fees associated to get a quick return. We didn't utilize any of the "features" we ended up paying for just so we could talk to a live rep. I think it is time to boycott.
"You can file your tax return electronically, select the Refund Processing Service ("RPS") for an additional fee of $40.00 (the "RPS fee"), and have your federal income tax refund processed through a processor using banking services of a financial institution. The RPS allows your refund to be deposited into a bank account intended for one-time use at Civista Bank ("Bank") and deducts your TurboTax fees and other fees you authorize from your refund. The balance is delivered to you via the disbursement method you select. If you file your tax return electronically and select the RPS, the IRS will deposit your refund with Bank. Upon Bank's receipt of your refund, Santa Barbara Tax Products Group, LLC, a processor, will deduct and pay from your refund the RPS fee, any fees charged by TurboTax for the preparation and filing of your tax return and any other amounts authorized by you and disburse the balance of your refund proceeds to you. Unless there are delays by the IRS, refunds are received in less than 21 days from the time you file your tax return electronically. However, if your return contains Earned Income Tax Credit or Additional Child Tax Credit, the IRS will issue your refund no earlier than February 15, 2020"
For the record, we have no access to that account and our Turbo Visa account shows no transaction histories, and there is no access to any other feature on the Turbo Visa homepage. It just reflects a $0.00 balance and zero transaction histories. I am thoroughly disappointed. Here's to hoping Turbo Tax will be transparent and will work diligently to correct THEIR errors. This is not on the tax filers, and tax filers shouldn't be penalized for utilizing a commercial tax preparation service.
Annnnnnd we can just file our return by mail and wait for a check.
