When will the following forms be ready ? Form 1040,schedules 1,5,B,an D, and form 8949, 8453 ? I need them in order to file.

I cannot file untill Turbotax provides all the forms that I need.

All of these forms have been available for many weeks. If you are using the CD/download product installed on your computer, you need to perform an update. Click on Online then Check for Updates.

My Turbo Tax 2020 states that Individual Form 1040, Form 8995 and Form 540 will be ready soon. I can't complete my taxes. Per your statement all of these forms have available for many weeks. If this is true why am I having problems completing my taxes?

The IRS has not yet finalized the instructions for 2020 Form 1040.

The IRS has not yet finalized the 2020 Form 8995 or the instructions for the form

The California FTB have not yet finalized the 2020 Form 540 or the instructions for the form

A 2020 tax return cannot be e-filed until early January 2021.

The IRS will not be accepting any type of 2020 tax return until January 27, 2021

@rgkit5472 You are looking at a reply from well over a year ago that does not refer to 2020 software.

There are a number of 2020 forms that are still being revised by the IRS.  Click on the REVIEW tab to see what form(s) you are waiting for and when it is estimated to be ready (when operational ….and dates are subject to change) ...
