According to the IRS, the first direct deposits will be made in about 2 weeks.

And the first checks will be sent out in about 3 to 4 weeks.

the checks are to be send in 'income order', meaning for those who made less than $10,000, the checks are supposed to be sent the week of April 24; for those who made less than $20,000, the checks are supposed to be sent the week of May 1, etc. Those at the top end ($198,000), the check are to go out in September.
