When will I get my taxes back after filing for a paper check

You can check your refund status by visiting the Where's My Refund website. 

Once your refund is approved they will issue out the paper check via mail. Once they mail the check, it can take 5-7 days to receive it via mail.

I also filed to get a paper check, how will i know when my refund check was mailed and about how long I can expect to wait before i get it?

TurboTax does not get any information about refund status. You must check the status yourself using the IRS refund tracking web site: https://www.irs.gov/refunds
