When I enter the Payer's TIN for my 1099-DIV, it pulls the wrong state and gives "invalid zip code" error. I can only adjust zip code (which is correct), not the state.

What can I do to adjust this error so that I can file electronically? There is no option to adjust the state for the Payer on my 1099-DIV.

You need to delete the 1099-DIV and enter it manually - select skip import.
