I am receiving the REJ002 rejection. My taxes have been rejected numerous of times. This hasn't happened before. When you click on Fix My Return in the email, it does NOTHING. I have spoken with a Turbo Tax specialist who had no idea. He said that if it keeps rejecting, to mail it in. I had asked about the fees. So, I will still have to pay the fees for e-filing even though I am mailing the return in. This makes no sense whatsoever. How can you fix a rejection that doesn't have a fix to it? I will think twice about filing with Turbotax next year. I can't even file this year.
We would like to take a deeper look at this. In order to do this, we need you to provide us with a diagnostic file which is a copy of your tax return that has all of your personal information removed. You can send one to us by following the directions below:

Please log back into TurboTax and make sure that you do not have any duplicated entries such as W-2's, 1099's, etc. When you log back into the program, you should receive instructions on how to fix the rejection.
@MichelleLO Hello. My rejection went back to the original rejection of duplicate W2s. I have checked this info numerous of times. Could it be that I have a 1099-Misc form along with a W2 from the same company. The 1099-Misc form is for Paid Family Leave. So, it is not for self-employment. I will verify again per your post.
@MichelleLO Hello again. I went back into my return and the Paid Family Leave wages was listed again under my wages. I think I have solved the issue. The system was reading my 1099-Misc form as a second W2 since it is from my employer. Yet, I had entered this info under the 1099-Misc section. I went into the Unemployment/ Paid Family Leave section. It asks a few questions about your PFL benefits. Then, it states that if your paid leave is through your employer, you would add that to your wages. So, I deleted all the info in the 1099-Misc section, added the income to my wages, and resubmitted my return. I am thinking this should fix my issue. Thanks for all of your help. Take care.
