Umm no ma'am I don't even see how your an expert replying to my comment.... First of all it's completely false advertisement because it's not free I paid $200 for help from an expert like "live" help and it still can't out wrong u guys didn't give me everything I worked for, that I was owed. And honestly I feel like all of us on here should get together and sue y'all it's rediculous someone just posted 30 min ago how they have been waiting going on 8 weeks for their money 

With COVID and I can't speak for everyone but for me I've had to go through hurricane after hurricane during a pandemic I have 4 children and this is a major disruption to me life's and theirs and makes everything harder. I can honestly say I will never use turbo tax again and if I can be the advocate stop the next person  from filling with turbo I surely will

The IRS is responsible for issuing refunds. No software company knows what adjustments were made in addition the free service is for a basic W2 return. The software companies  are self prepared and omitting information on the return or answering the child tax credits incorrectly will cause further review. 
Youu need to look at the return you filed.  Did you correctly answer all questions regarding the children. Did you indicate they lived with you all year? Did you check child tax credit or “other dependent “. These are common errors affecting refunds this season. The IRS is short staffed and under funded. Talk to your congressman they fund the IRS.

Noo ma’am or sir whichever… but I can Read sweet heart i know that simple w2 is free that’s all I had I had I think 3 or 4 W2 that’s it and I had help from a live expert and we review it over and over it was a couple weeks I let it sit there just reviewing everything I qualified for before I sent it out!!!… it’s not about software or about checking my stuff all lied I feel like I’ve been scammed by a very well known company that’s super dumb and If u can’t get on board with the irs why are u having ppl fule their FEDERAL taxes with turbo that’s red flags right there. 🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩

@Alexxmarie You are saying that you had "live" expert help but then say you used the free software.   What version of the software did you actually use?   We cannot see your tax return or your account.

I had did them My self and I wanted to have them double check so I went thru my return with an export hows name was like don or Scott or something. he was very nice and told me I had did everything right and it was perfect to send off

i got a letter like 6 weeks ago and sent it back in and was wondering if there was a way to track to see if i will get the payment?

I have the same problem. I return the 15111 form and it has been 8 weeks have not heard anything for the IRS I am trying to get a hold of them but is almost impossible. Did anybody get a refund? I haven’t got a noticed if I got approved or denied and it’s so frustrating.

It’s almost about eight weeks for me at the seven week mark in a few days and no I haven’t heard anything back either and I don’t believe there’s a way to track it either it is very frustrating I read on a couple posts before hours that the guy did it in May or March and didn’t receive it until November hopefully that’s not a situation that we are in

I met the requirements on the questionnaire which I’m hoping I do get a refund. I did my taxes through TurboTax as well and I had to pay back almost 2k on taxes and I had 3 dependents. Hopefully is just an error and I am able to get something back with inflation I have to work doubles to meet ends. I will keep you posted if I do receive something. Thank you

Does anyone have an update? we mailed our form on march 23rd and have not recieved anything at all. cant get ahold of anyone and just want to know if from this tax  return year 2022 how long has it taken most of you to recieve your EIC... its been 9 weeks now since the day we mailed the letter.

I honestly don’t think any of us has heard anything I even googled it and tried to reach if there’s away to track it but all it says is we should be receiving  a letter at the least before it proceeds, and I don’t think any of us have gotten any letters yet determining wether or not we are approved. I’m located in Louisiana and I doubt the state we are in even matters but yeah I’m in limbo as well

I mailed mine in April. I called like 2 weeks ago and they said that all I can do is wait. They said they don't have in their system that I mailed it back but they said it's probably because they are very busy and behind
