My e-file got rejected multiple times with this error:

If the error refers to the software needing an upgrade that doesn't exist, try uninstalling TT and reinstalling.  That's what I ultimately did (after TT agent couldn't figure out the problem) and we were able to then completely efile.  It doesn't take long, and the return files remain intact.
