What does my tax return was accessed mean

I received 3 emails stating that my account was accessed all with the same time and date stamp.  Are all these from my access or can it be someone else?

Were you accessing TurboTax during this time?  If you don't think so or you are not sure, I would change your password.  To do this, please see the help article here.

@Marksketo, if you did not access your return, I would suggest changing your user ID and password. You can also add a phone number, if you haven't done so already or turn on two-step authentication. I hope this helps.

My tax return was accessed is just TurboTax telling you that you logged into your account and downloaded your return from the server.

If you are concerned that it isn't you (someone else) then you can change your password.

TurboTax is cautious because we want to be sure that your information remains secure at all times.

The next step will be your return going to pending status, which simply means that your e-filed return is on its way and that the government hasn't accepted or rejected it yet. You will then receive an email informing you that your return has been accepted or rejected by the IRS.  If

your return is rejected, you will receive an email instructing you on how to fix it. 

You can check your e-file status. If it's been accepted, you can begin to track your refund at the IRS Where's My Refund? site.  You'll need your Social Security number or ITIN, filing status, and the exact amount of your refund to check your status.

This is cindy[ [PII removed]  have my refund been processed yet and hw will I get my stimulus I was in jail in 2019 but I just filed my taxes yesterday and it said accepted for f Federal and then I got an email saying that it was a c c e s s e d so I didn't know what that meant and then I talked to some lady today and she was like 2 to 3 weeks prior from my refund I should receive my stimulants but I thought I would receive my Simmons before my refund

I think you are asking "Is it normal if you get an email saying your account was accessed?"

Yes, that means that your account was opened on a different device than the one you used to first create the account. 

If you use one computer to start an account, and then use a different laptop or your phone to log in, that message will be sent to you. 

If you did not do that, someone else was able to get into your TurboTax account. 

Any first or second stimulus payments you did not get will be included in your refund. 

The third stimulus will be paid separately from your refund.
