Want to change the address on my federal return (still not received)

Hi,

its been 3 months and i still couldnt receive my federal return (i got my state return by chance). The address on the state return was wrong, it was going to be returned in the post office in my city, by chance i went there and found my state return envelope (they said the house number was not written on the envelope, so it was not going to be brought to my house). However, I could not find my federal return there. They said they did not receive it. For month I did not go to the post office and I do not know if they received it and return it back.

Now, I want my federal state tax return to be sent to another address, or to be sent to my friends bank account in USA. Currently I am not living in USA, so i do not have a USA bank account. Also, I do not have a USA phone number and i can not contact with a turbotax specialist because of this. I am so frustrated because of trying to contact a specialist, they do not call my Turkish phone number. How can I solve this issue?

No one from TurboTax can assist you with your tax refund or the address on the federal tax return that you filed.

If your address is wrong on the federal tax return then you have to submit a change of address with the IRS.

You should send a change of address to the IRS, but that will only fix it for future mailings. It will not make them send your missing refund to the new address. You have to initiate a refund trace with the IRS.

In the link you provided, it says that I should send them a hard copy form, which I can not. I am not living in USA and sending such a hard copy costs much. 

Can I change my address online?

Or can I request another shipment for my same federal return?

@bilal26160 You will have to contact the IRS by telephone for assistance with your issues.  What you want to do cannot be accomplished online.

Since you live outside of the US you will need to use the international phone number for the IRS.
