W-2

This is my first time filing a W-2 and I’m only 15 so I need help .

Just go through the interview and TurboTax will ask questions and guide you through the process.

To enter the W-2, please follow these steps:

1. Click on Federal > Wages & Income  
2. Under Wages and Salaries, click the Start/Update box. 
3. If you haven't yet added any W-2s, on the screen, Let’s get your W-2 info, mark the radio button Work on my W-2 now and click Continue.
4. Enter the information from your W-2.
5. Continue through the screens entering the information.

[IMPORTANT:  As you are going through the Persona Info, section make sure you indicate that you are a dependent of someone else (your parent(s)) and that they will be claiming you.]

we don't have any W-2 but the form is there and will not let me continue

To delete the W-2 in TurboTax, follow these steps:

1. Select Wages & Income,
2. Select Pick up where I left off,
3. Scroll down until you see the W-2,
4. Select Edit/Add,
5. Select the Trash can.
