Just go through the interview and TurboTax will ask questions and guide you through the process.
To enter the W-2, please follow these steps:
- Click on Federal > Wages & Income
- Under Wages and Salaries, click the Start/Update box.
- If you haven't yet added any W-2s, on the screen, Let’s get your W-2 info, mark the radio button Work on my W-2 now and click Continue.
- Enter the information from your W-2.
- Continue through the screens entering the information.
[IMPORTANT: As you are going through the Persona Info, section make sure you indicate that you are a dependent of someone else (your parent(s)) and that they will be claiming you.]
