Turbotax 2019 is totally different from my last several years of use. I can't get it to access my 2018 return. I never had a user ID and password in other years. What can I do to get things going? Is there a phone number or chat session for me to use?

Did you use the TurboTax desktop CD/Download editions in the prior tax years? If so, then it sounds as if you are using the TurboTax online web-based editions instead of the desktop editions if you are being asked for a User ID and Password.
