Your question if somewhat confusing.  "Online download version" ?

1)  There is an Online browser-based cloud version...that does exactly one Federal tax return  (plus a couple attached states).


2) There is a desktop version....available either as a CD, or as a download installation file....that can do 5 Federal e-files (along with the states associated with it)…….and even more filings for your family if you print and mail them......but the CD/Download version requires a full Windows or MAC OS X Computer.

You can not install it on a mobile device, tablet or phone.  There is a mobile app but it is just a portal to the Online web version.

Yes you have a full computer?  Yes, The Desktop program can prepare unlimited returns.  You can efile 5 Federal for free and print and mail the rest.

Using the online version (web browser based), every return requires a separate account with different user name and password (although you can use the same notification email address) and each account requires a separate fee, unless you qualify for free filing.
