This is poor design (I am a former dev leader for a large FinServ). Standard practice is that when a user deletes a numeric entry the entry is assumed to be 0. At the very least TT could ask you "you deleted that, did you mean to make it $0". I found this situation in the HSA entry form. Before I received my W-2 I must have been playing with the numbers and entered an amount into the personal contribution field. So, after I got my W-2 TT showed that I had put too much money into my HSA because it had both my corporate contribution from my W-2 and the personal amount I had entered (and deleted - I thought). It took me 15 minutes to find the cause - this usability flaw. Please address for next year. Thanks. Love the product, otherwise.
