I bought TurboTax  from Costco and started preparing the tax. Now I am thinking of using LiveAssisted. How can I get the refund for my desktop version? Costco will not give refund since it is already activated.  Also live assisted, how many filings can I use? Is it for each? I have 2 fed and 2 state(CA).

With online TurboTax you get ONE return per fee---very unlike the CD/download with which you can prepare and e-file up to five federal and state returns.  And....you pay separately for federal and state.   So---if you have more than one return to prepare---you might want to re-consider switching to online.  We can answer a lot of questions here in the user forum.

Here is a link to the fees for using online Live:

TurboTax Live includes help from a tax expert when you need it, and the option for a final review of your return. There are two ways to add these benefits. Please see the Help Article here for assistance.
