Updating turbo tax to show that stimulus money was received

Where in the step by step instructions for Turbo Tax Deluxe is the question asking if the govt. stimulus money was received?   I initially entered $0 was received, but now want to change it to show $1800 was received. I cannot find where to update that info in the step by step instructions.

The stimulus check is an advance on a credit you can receive on your 2020 tax return.  If something went wrong or you did not get the stimulus check in 2020, you can get it when you file your 2020 return in early 2021

The Recovery Rebate Credit will be found in the FEDERAL REVIEW section. ( you should see "Let's make sure you got the right stimulus amount”)  If you are eligible it will end up on line 30 of your 2020 Form 1040.

Make sure that you enter ALL of the stimulus money received for the 1st ad 2nd stimulus for yourself, your spouse and your children.

Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the screen. Click on Tools. Click on View Tax Summary. Click on Preview my 1040 on the left side of the screen.

On Turbo Tax you can probably update or edit your 2020 1st and 2nd stimulus money received by clicking on the "Review" just before e-filing.

Thank you, this was very helpful. I didn't think to look in the Federal review section, I looked everywhere else though!

Please update my turbo tax to include a question as to whether or not stimulus was received.  The question was not asked even though I completed two different tax returns.

@starsky18 That question appears in the Federal Review section.   If you are someone else's dependent or if your income was too high in 2020 and you do not qualify for the recovery rebate credit, the question will not appear.

Best, easiest  most accurate way to find this is go to SEARCH TOPICS-- type in Stimulus, then select Stimulus from the suggestions and you are there.  Took me forever to figure this out.

TurboTax had a major screw up on this section in the early releases.  Looks like it was fixed--but confused me because I got less refund than I expected due to their error.
