When will turbotax 2017 be updated to do 2018 estimated taxes based on the tax law changes? Currently, it is assuming my 2018 tax is exactly the same as my 2017 tax

The 1040-ES generated assumes tax will be exactly the same as 2017

Looks like it includes the 2018 data to me....but...in order to do it, you do have to say YES to the part about reviewing your entries for the forms, and then carefully go thru the forms.

When I did it using exactly the same numbers as my 2017 values (but increasing the Child tax credit for 1 child under 17 to $2000)....and using the expected 2018 tax values (it asks that on one page)

....it increased my taxable income to 58,000 from 52,000  (Correct for my test file...Std Deduction went up to 24,000, but I lost a bunch of personal exemption $$$ and itemized deductions)...then it calculated a lower tax  for lower rates and $2000 Child tax credit.

So it appears to e working properly for 2018 taxes...IF..if you go thru all the preparation pages carefully and don't use the defaults.
