UNABLE TO FILE TAXES

I have contacted the help desk several times but none of them have been able to resolve the issue; the last individual said the system is overloaded and to keep trying.  I have an iMac and am operating the current software load 15.3.1.  I keep getting the following message when I attempt to upload my tax return:

Your Transmission Didn't Go Through

TurboTax was unable to send your return to the Intuit Electronic Filing Center, for the following reason:

Transmission failed:  FAILED_VALIDATION.  There is an update available for your version of TurboTax.  Before you can file electronically, you'll need to get this update.  To do this, go to the Online menu and select Check for Updates.

Looks like we"ve had a technical hiccup.

Try e-filing again.  If that doesn't work, you can print your return and file by mail.

My TurboTax software is up-to-date.

Here are several troubleshooting steps that you can try:

• Make sure your Windows Software is up to date.
• If you are using a downloaded version, uninstall and reinstall the program from your MyDownloads folder.  How do I find my TurboTax for Windows software download?
• If that doesn't help, try a manual update. What is a manual update?
• Turning off your VPN and anti-virus software during the update can help as well.
