I am talking about TurboTax website, not TurboTax software.
Is it possible to get PDF preview of tax return? Even if it comes with watermark. If yes, how to get PDF return form? I am hesitated to move on (below screenshot: I have filled out all data).
I don't plan to file with TurboTax, just want to fill out the data and see how it is calculate.
You'll need to sign in or create an account to connect with an expert.
You can download a pdf file after you have paid for the software. If you do not plan to file with TurboTax, this will probably not be economical for you, but here is how per: Can I print a copy of my return in TurboTax Online before I file it?:
As I said, I am talking about website version, not software. It seems Print Center is for previous years' tax return only, I did not find a way to print year 2024 tax return.

You can view your Form 1040 plus Schedules 1, 2 and 3 at any time using the online editions. Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen. Click on Tools. Click on View Tax Summary. Click on Preview my 1040 on the left side of the screen.
To view/print your complete tax return using the TurboTax online editions, click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen. Click on Print Center. Then click on Print, save or preview this year's return.
@VAer If you have already filed the 2024 tax return and want a complete copy of the return to include worksheets and the Filing Instructions -
To access your current or prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/
When you sign onto your online account and land on the Tax Home web page, scroll down and click on Add a state.
This will take you back to the 2024 online tax return.
Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen. Then click on Print Center. Then click on Print, save or preview this year's return. Choose the option Include government and TurboTax worksheets
@DoninGA I have NOT filed tax return, and don't plan to file tax return with TurboTax due to its high cost. I prefer to go with FreeTaxUSA or other website.
My question is simple: Just fill out data with TurboTax website and see how the tax return form looks like, then comparing it with tax return form done by another website.
TurboTax website Print center seems to ask me to Pay Now or Pay Later, in either case, it brings me to this page before printing tax return form.
But I don't want to sign anything, I am worried that the tax return will be e-filed after signing anything. Since I agreed to Pay Later, then I will owe TurboTax for e-filing fee.
Sorry you have to pay the fees first to see the pdf. You can pay and not actually file the return. Filing is a separate step at the very end you have to hit the big orange Transmit Returns Now button.
Before filing you can preview the 1040 or print the whole return. You have to pay any fees first before you can see all the forms, etc.

@VolvoGirl I am not going to PAY and not filing. I just heard that FreeTaxUSA and Cash App offers PDF version of tax return preview before filing with them, not confirmed yet. I will try them later.
They can't let you see all the forms etc. without paying. Otherwise nobody would need to pay at all. They could just copy it onto the blank forms and mail it. It might be cheaper to buy the Desktop Download program. Then you can use a lower version and it has many other features over the Online versions. All the Desktop programs have all the same forms, you just get more program help in the higher versions. And you get 5 free federal efiles.
@VAer I gave you the procedure to view the Form 1040 and the associated Schedule 1, 2 and 3.
To print the complete tax return using TurboTax you would need to pay the TurboTax account fees.
If you got a PDF of the complete return for printing, then there would be no reason to for TurboTax to exist as a company providing tax preparation software. Everyone would print and mail their tax returns at no cost and not pay TurboTax for the use of the software.
