Turbotax Virginia State still not available for download?

The State Download was supposed to be ready on 12/14/23. I spoke to support, and they said try on the 15th.

The software is installed and up to date but when I click on download State, it brings to TurboTax online.

How do I download State?

Is it not available yet?

Sorry..no.  Mabe the "fix" to the software, that lets the software tell you when VA will be available.

The state forms Web Tool   (  Intuit App      ) indicates most VA forms will be available on 4 January....with some forms not available until 25 Jan.   AND....they (software folks) might change those dates .

If any forms do download earlier .... be very leery of their results until mid February while all-y'all find the bugs in the first releases.

I would think that's a bit late to release the State but I take your word for it. 

I always like to get things done early, but I guess they don't care.

I am still going to call Intuit support cuz they lied to me and said it would be ready today.

Yes, a few people have been able to download state forms, at least for other states (MO being one).

..BUT...they've found that they are either last year's state forms, or are using last year's state tax rates where the state has changed those rates for 2023.

Thus, any early downloads might be really screwy, or even totally fouled up and useless for state tax projections.
