Since Turbo Tax links to support are broken what is the link to what federal tax forms were updated in today's release?

Many forms and schedules are not yet ready. When the IRS/state has finalized the forms you need then you will be able to file. Click Review to see what you have to wait for. The IRS is not accepting returns until January 27, so there is no hurry to file now. Filing now would not result in an early refund.
I appreciate your response but the link doesn't provide what I'm looking for. Also, I'm not in a hurry to file I just want to do standard tax prep since I paid for the software.
The point is - after you do an update and click on link to Federal Forms updated in this update it takes me to a web page that says Turbo Tax support has moved. When I click on it it doesn't take me to the Federal Forms link, it just takes me to a starting support page.
Linking from the software to the right web page is the most basic of basic functions and should be something Intuit could've fixed this week. Has nothing to do with tax forms being ready or not. It just adds to frustration of using this product. I remember in the past where Intuit products just worked.
That is odd. That link works perfectly when I click on it.
Sorry it did not copy and paste very well--seemed like worth a try since you say the link did not work for you.
Thanks xmasbaby, the link worked fine. But I'm not looking for the entire list. I'm looking specifically for the changes that were update in a specific update.
The link that doesn't work is the one that the app shows once an update is complete. It goes to the page with no information.
Exactly! The link to the change log has been broken for months. It makes me wonder if something so EASY TO FIX has remained broken for so long, how can the internals that are less visible be trusted?
Have the same exact issue. Used to be able to see update details easily. Now when you click on "details", it takes you to a Turbo Tax Support page that says has moved and "click here". When you click that link, it just takes you to the a support page and gives you no details to what the update did.
Wonder if it has something to do when browser used
Are you saying you, or anyone, is actually seeing the release notes when clicking on More Details in the update dialog? I don't see how that's possible. The "More Details" link within the program takes you to something like
turbotax.intuit.com/support/in-product/434-releases-notes-2012-ind/
which redirects you to "Support has moved".
Meanwhile, I found in this forum in https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/after-you-file/discussion/see-this-turbotax-support-faq-for-the-la... that TurboTax has made a decision not to provide update information. What? Are we to guess what forms are now included, and what changes have been made that might have data integrity issues with our return so far?
But even more stupid would be if TurboTax knew that they were hiding the update details from the customer, but still gave them a link telling them to click to find them. Do they just like to watch Charlie Brown try to kick the football?
I found it ridiculous that we can't see what changes are in each update and that it hasn't been addressed. I was actually on a call with support for another issue. I mentioned this, and he didn't even acknowledge I asked the question. He just continued to talk about the other issue. It's very odd.
Always used to read details of updates to see what had changed and if a particular schedule I used had been revised. It is crazy that that information is no longer available. Why bother with "see details" then?
It's odd and asinine. While I am bothered by the policy of not telling you how changes made might effect your return in progress, the worse issue is that they continue to put a link there for you to follow to see them! How stupid is that?
It is said that if you want to know how clean a restaurant's kitchen is, check out the restrooms. Restrooms are easier to keep clean than a kitchen, and they know the restroom is customer facing. So here we have the update process, which every user encounters multiple times, with a broken link. This is what has me worried about what's going on inside the program where we can't see.
This is totally ridiculous. Intuit updates the software with new forms. You click on "More Details" and get "TurboTax Support has Moved".
This has been reported now for months. Nothing is fixed. It's an easy fix, make the links to what has changed point to the new location.
Absolutely unacceptable. Just happened today, 3/6, for a Federal update, that I have no idea what was changed.
In another post, the comment was made in January that release notes have been discontinued, and the links would be removed in future updates. 2 months later, nope.
Intuit - I have to say, your housekeeping is awful.
