Not a question. It is a firm statement. I will be filing my two state returns this year via US MAIL. I refuse to pay TurboTax $25 per state for the convenience of e-Filing which is actually the preferred method of each state. Also, this will be the last year I buy TurboTax unless you do away with this fee. This fee is nothing more than a gimmick to increase your profits. America is tired of this crap.

TurboTax has charged a e-file fee for state tax returns for at least the last twenty years when using the TurboTax desktop editions. Printing and mailing the state return has always been an option to avoid the fee.
There has been a state e-file fee for the desktop software for many years. The software included the program to prepare the state return, but there is a fee to e-file the state. It is simple to avoid the state e-file fee by printing and mailing the state returns.
When I used desktop I always mailed my state returns to save on the efile fee.
