I still getting the message "Ready Soon" regarding Connecticut Individual CT-1040. It's been almost a week since I reported it to TurboTax and no resolution.
If you have tried a Manual Update of TurboTax Desktop, and are still having issues filing a Connecticut return, would you please let us know?

I spoke with an accountant yesterday and he told me that the reason this is happening is that Connecticut made a slight change to one of the pages of the 1040 form. It involves pensions, so if you had any income related to them, you're going to be getting this error. He said that everything should be set by February 21st at the latest and there shouldn't be any problems filing the state return through TT by then. Even if you don't have pension income, you could still end up getting hit by the same issue. He says he's not been able to file any state returns yet for the same reason.
It is now 2/8/2025 and turbo tax has not filed my CT return. Anyone know what's going on?
I filed on 1/30 and had no issues it went through , got accepted and I received the refund from them 3 days later
This is a State of Connecticut issue and your website states below that you don't offer State manual updates.
"We don't offer manual updates for TurboTax state software. If you need to update your state, here are your options."
I would suggest you step through the FILE section and try to Efile your Connecticut State return again. Be sure you go all the way through to Transmit Returns.

Yes MarilynG1, I’m still having problems after the update. I already went through the hour long phone call with TT tech to no avail….
I still shows "available soon"10 February 2025. hope it becomes available soon, not sure what the hold up is.
Yes. This is infuriating.
As is reading all the proposed solutions ust telling us to download new forms. It seems like there is a clear issue (CT made a small update to the forms), and Turbotax just hasn't been setup for them or something (or doesn't properly recognize it needs new forms).
To investigate this further the following information is needed. Can you send me the screenshots from your TurboTax?
