TurboTax Download Question

I have been using the Premier version of TT for the Mac, which I have loaded to my desktop from a disc.  I also want to download this version to my daughter's MacBook Air from my TT storage site, where TT has placed a copy of this file.  She automatically downloads files to her desktop.  When she transfers the file to her Applications folder, and then tries to open the program, the system tells her to move the software first to the Applications folder (when she has already done this).  What are we missing for her to be able to open the software?

If still no luck, please try the steps below to resolve this issue:

1. Create a new login account on the Mac (be sure to give the new user Administrative permissions.)
2. Sign on as the new user and then install TurboTax to that user ID.  
3. Next transfer the Turbo Tax file you have been working on into the program with the new user ID. Please ensure to give permission to access the old file to the new user.

There is always a danger in my giving computer advice to a daughter remotely.  She did not understand that when opening the download she had to drag the TT icon to the right and drop it into the pop-up window.  Thanks for your response, regardless!
