TurboTax Business version for 2025

I am managing an Estate which came into being in February 2025 and will likely be closed out by December 2025.  All I see available currently is a TT 2024 version.  I need to file for tax year 2025 both fed and state returns. Is there a 2025 version with 2025 forms? TIA.

If the estate will not be terminating until December of 2025, you have until April to file the 1041.

TurboTax Business 2025 will be out way before the date you need to file the return for the estate.

BTW, which state do you need? TurboTax Business does not support all states.

Software for 2025 tax returns usually becomes available in mid to late November; TurboTax Business is a desktop download that can be used with Windows, or as an online program with "Live" help from a tax expert.   As stated above, your filing deadline for a 2025 tax return will be in 2026.

The IRS has not published the 2025 forms yet. Form 1041 for 2024 was released by the IRS in December 2024. The IRS instructions for 2024 were not published until January 2025. After the IRS releases the 2025 forms and instructions, TurboTax will need some time to incorporate the new forms and instructions into the software.

TurboTax Business supports PA fiduciary so you should be fine.

the only listing is 2024 business turbotax for desktop.    not 2025 as mentioned.  and that is the essence of this post.  confirmation that this is the correct business desktop download purchase

The 2025 program has not come out yet except if you have the Advantage auto renew plan, then I heard the personal Desktop programs came out today Nov 4, 2025.   So the Desktop programs should be coming out in the next couple of weeks.   Keep checking back for 2025.
