Due date is almost here are you going to try to file by mail. I have always done the e file so first have to figure out what is needed to mail the return and where?
I am having the same issue. I also live in Georgia. Today is March 11, 2024. and the form(s) in question were available 3/8/24. So it must be something else. Intuit says its a problem with Georgia. Georgia Dept of Revenue says they are able to accept electronic returns from other tax services. Searching online indicates this is a recurring problem, but seems to be different states every year.
Georgia S600 is now dated 3/15/2024. Intuit, have your lost your minds????
So far TT has not said they will fix the WI problem, even though their advertising says they can e-file federal and state(s) of your choice. I've had 3 lengthy discussions with TT Support on this yielding no commitment to fix the problem.
Update:
From the Texas webfile site:
Beginning with reports due in 2024, taxable entities with annualized total revenue less than or equal to the no tax due threshold are no longer required to file a No Tax Due Report but must still file a Public/Ownership Information Report.
Seems TT is attempting to e-file the "No Tax Due Report", which Texas is not accepting.
I've already filed the "Information Report" on the TX website. So looks like I'm done.
Have printed and mailed what TT is spitting out just to cover all my bases.
Now the question is "Why did I spend $50 on the state return".
Try saving your state return to PDF or printing your state return. The first page should be the mail-in instructions. If the instructions are not initially present, you may have to back up to the filing option and select e-file for federal and print/later for state.
Same problem with me today in GA! I get an error that Turbo Tax Business is not ready to file returns.
Important Information- Today, I called Turbotax and spoke with their customer care rep. After a long hold and going to and fro, he finally told me that the all GA Forms 600S are not ready yet. They will NOT be ready before March 15th. I asked him if that means I will miss my filing deadline...he said yes. I could not believe this. Good bye Turbotax... Fiascotax.
I e-filed the federal form (last week) which was accepted in minutes. I am printing and mailing our GA-700 form plus support documents. TT let’s you print the righs docs, first page has the mailing address. On my way to UPS. Hope things are better with individual returns a month from now
That's a distinct problem since Wisconsin requires eFile. It's worked the 9ast several years, although I seem to recall delays in the past as well.
Here is the link to request the REFUND https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/intuit-refunds/request-refund-turbotax-p...
Although the Forms Availability Table for TurboTax Business indicates that the Georgia State Income modules for all business entities are ready for filing, recent developments have delayed implementation. Since we have not been given an estimated release date, you may wish to consider requesting an extension of time to file.
According to the Georgia Department of Revenue, if you have a filed a Federal extension (Form 7004) by the original due date of your return, you will be granted an additional 6 months to file your Georgia return. Form 7004 is available in all versions of TurboTax Business.
If you have already filed the federal return, you can still extend the Georgia return by using Form IT-303.
So, according to this Georgia Dept of Revenue Website page, the list of so called "Approved Software Providers", i.e. those that are approved to transmit the 600S Corporate Tax return electronically, Intuit has *some* software (like *Lacerte*, *Proconnect* and *Proseries*) that is mostly approved.
Tellingly, however, the TurboTax entries in the PDF are showing as pending (see attached screenshot). So it looks like there is some delay from the State DOR's side. (Still not a reason for them to advertise this capability on their website, though).
The problem is this refund is inly valid withiñ 30 days of purchase. I purchased at the end of Dec. Also, there is no guarantee that they will refund the federal as the issue is with state forms. I do not want ro use 2 separate companies to file my 1120S and state.
@ritenshah - I had accidentally downloaded the 1120 C Corp State return before realizing my error.
FWIW, I think you can (and should) request a refund of just the 1120 S (GA State) product using the URL provided by one of the experts here. Intuit refunded my purchase in under 48 hours.
I am also planning to simply print out the State forms and mail them via UPS. Applying for the extension seems to me to be overkill.
As a strictly moral matter, I intend to ask Intuit for a full refund of the state return, especially given all the time and effort I have spent researching and posting here 🙂
