I always bought the DVD version and loaded on my dad's computer when I did his taxes. Then, I loaded it on my computer when I did my taxes (used same product key from the DVD). We have separate accts, computers and I file the taxes separately. In the past, this was never a problem as you were allowed to load on up to 5 computers.
Am I still able to do this? If not, then I may not buy this software.

Yes, you can still download your TurboTax on up to 5 computers. No changes have been made for that for 2023.
You can still install Turbo Tax on 5 computers you own. But this year you will have to sign into the same online account. You should use the download method of installing instead of using the CD. It will be easier to install on another computer.
See this FAQ for why do I need to sign in to an Intuit Account this year?

There should be a card in the CD case on on the CD envelope that says how to download it and you will need the 14 or 16 digit code from it to enter.
