Just tried today and Turbo Tax rep knew nothing about it. The link posted above in another post, and below, worked for me. https://secure.chase.com/web/auth/?LOB=TurboTaxLogon
I am done with reaching out, by 2/24/22, I submitted a claim for a refund, even that has become a nightmare, checked the status of the refund, "case closed" when I called to see what the outcome was no one could give me an answer, if fact I was told to resubmit refund. If I called I would only get the same response, "your case has been resolved", or "your case was closed"
I went back to H&R Block to file my taxes at least they didn't lie about their partners as TurboTax did. Chase Investments will not be on their list until 4/18/22, according to the email I received today.
In a nutshell can anyone at TurboTax tell if I'm getting a refund?
Received email supposedly from Intuit Turbo Tax saying Intuit will not fix until after tax deadline. Suggests using TT online. Thing is imported 1099r and 1099b through choosing J P Morgan Investments. What is Intuit thinking?
There is this recent FAQ for Chase
My software was updated today and now the message is that I cannot import from Chase. I must enter manually or use the online version. Manually would take me weeks of data entry. The link for the instructions does not work. This is a horrible experience from what was once a good product. I will never use this product again. I help make software decisions for one of the largest companies in the world. I will do everything in my power to make sure we never buy Intuit products ever again.
Couldn't agree more!
This was the only reason why I switched to turbo tax! Still trying to get a credit, went to H&R Block.
Brilliant! I've been bouncing between Chase and Turbo Tax. Thought the "known issue" would be fixed by now.... NOT. But the URL you posted worked SO easily.,
Many Thanks
Do you want to import it? There is a way.
You can import Chase into the Online version. For Desktop program you can start a free Online Premier return to import it then switch and open your return in the Desktop program. That would involve start over with a new return in Online. So if you filled out a lot in your Desktop return you may not want to start over.
J.P. Morgan must hate the word "Chase" to not want to link to it as an option. Everyone should just use J.P. Morgan Securities instead of chasing this import mess down a rabbits hole.
Hi TexanIndian,
Thanks for the tip. It worked!! The "Get Your Identification Code" link in TurboTax does not have a hyperlink. Your URL worked.
Thank you for the update! We are glad you were able to get your issue resolved.
