So, I finished one account for John Rizzer using my personal login information because he is deceased.
Now I opened another account in my name. Saved it. Cannot access it today. It keeps taking me to John's account. HELP I spend several hours yesterday inputting so I sure hope that information is not lost. Florence Law. Thank you
@dossy1011 You have posted to an old and long thread full of posts from many other users. Your situation is not very clear. Do you mean that you used online TurboTax to prepare a return and now you need to prepare a return for someone else?
When you use Online TurboTax, you get one return per fee. Each return needs its own account and user ID. If you use the same account and user ID for a second return, you overwrite the first one and lose it forever.
Many people have multiple TT accounts and forget how to access them. Log out of the account you are in now.

Or did you use the desktop version of TurboTax? If so, the files are on your own hard drive or any backup device you used like a flash drive.
