turbo tax issue e-filing amended return

I e-filed my 2023 taxes, they've been accepted and a refund issued.  Right after I filed I found an error and realized I needed to file an amended return.  I went through and amended the return in turbo tax, went through all of the steps to e-file the amended return and at the point of transmission I got an error message saying I couldn't file because there was a turbo tax update I needed to install.  I installed the update and relaunched the program and now I can't e-file.  I select e-file my federal return, select do not file state return on the next page and then it says "nothing has been selected to e-file".  If I check the file status it says "transmission trouble-please try again", but it's the same issue each time.  It seems like something got corrupted when I installed the update.  I've closed and restarted, checked updates on my OS, restarted my laptop twice, once in safe mode and deleted and reinstalled the software, same thing.  I've also talked with Turbo tax support twice, with the last time asking to speak to a supervisor who still couldn't figure out the issue.  I was hoping someone might have some thoughts on anything else to try?

Thanks, but I've been on the phone with them several times already.  I called last night and asked for a supervisor right away as the first 2 agents had already taken a crack at it and couldn't find a solution.  Spent about 2 hours and he even got his tech support on to see the screen share because as I understand it, they are able to record the screen and he couldn't get a resolution either.  He finally said that it was because my state will not accept an amended return to be e-filed, but I'm not trying to amend or file the state and it was ready to transmit until I had to update.  I think I'm out of luck at this point.

 

I appreciate the response though.
