Turbo tax did my taxes. Paid for support. Problems with filing. Talked to a person. Wrong info from Turbo. Need to file 2023. Can’t get past recordings on phone HELP

Need to talk to a live person in Turbo Tax. Paid for that service.

E-filing is permanently closed for 2023 returns.  The only way to file a 2023 return now is by mail.   It has to be printed, signed and dated in ink, and mailed in.     

If you used one of the "Live" versions of the software you can try contacting your "expert" but there is nothing that can be done to help you e-file it now.   The return can only be mailed.

When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s.  Use a mailing service that will track it, such as certified mail so you will know the IRS/state received the return.

Federal and state returns must be in separate envelopes and they are mailed to different addresses.  Read the mailing instructions that print with your tax return carefully so you mail them to the right addresses.

Support people will be coming back to work now.  There is nothing that they can do if your taxes were not filed.  You will have to print out the return, sign it, and mail it to the IRS.  It is too late for you or for anyone to efile 2023 taxes with TurboTax.  Only mail in can be done now and requires your signature on the forms.
