Trying to pay fee but system won't allow to pay from refund because of foreign address. Tried to pay by credit card but the billing address doesn't allow foreign country

I'm U.S. citizen living abroad. credit card is with U.S. financial institution, billing address is foreign address. Country dropdown only has U.S. Payment page has some big glitches.

The billing address on your credit card and the mailing address on your tax return have to match or you will get an error for paying with a credit card.

If they are not the same then change your mailing address to your billing address.  Click on My Info on the left side of the screen.  Edit you mailing address and Continue.  Go back to the File section to make your payment.

After the payment has been approved, go back to My Info and change the address back to the original.

The addresses do match.

The problem is that Turbotax/Intuit does not allow payment from a foreign address.

Credit card is thru a U.S. financial institution - billing address is my local foreign address. That institution has no issues with the foreign address - they send the paper statements and everything else to it.

That is the address used on the return. The addresses match.

Again, the problem is that Turbotax/Intuit does not allow payment from a foreign address. They need to correct this as it is a major problem with their system. Have not had this issue with any other organization.

That is correct.  You need a US billing address to pay TurboTax fees if you are trying to pay for the services with a credit or debit card.

Link with additional info is of no help. Already tried it - paying with refund does not work with a foreign address.

They need to realize that there are many taxpayers that pay U.S. taxes and do not currently physically reside in the U.S.

If a U.S. based financial institution doesn't have any issues with using a foreign address (and send statements/correspondence to it) then other organizations should not have any problem with allowing payment with that credit card.
