Transferring 2002 Tax Info to 2023 Software

I saved 2022 return in Dropbox as a PDF file (return done on TurboTax desktop for Mac).

This year, when I went to transfer info, I'm receiving message that file is too big, but not to worry, Turbo Tax will walk me through setting everything up manually.  But what about capital loss carryforwards and similar info that I count on TurboTax to keep track of.....and thus the need for the transfer?

You  do not transfer a pdf in to the new return.  You need to be transferring the tax file---not a pdf.   Did you save it as a tax file?
