To get to the place where you enter the deductions for business expenses you have to go first to Income & Expenses tab at the top of your screen.  

  • Self-employment income and expenses is the 2nd category down, click on not started or review, after answering questions about your business on each screen you can enter your expenses here
  • Your W-2 is entered in the 1st category

To enter unreimbursed expenses for your W-2 job use Form 2106.

They are for self employed. I entered them into the income/expenses section and wasn't sure if they should be added again.

No, if they are in that income/expense section, they will be deducted from your income on Schedule C.

Just check your Schedule C when you view your tax return before you e-file. Make sure you see them there.
