Is the online version of Personal & Business Income and Expenses the same as the download version of Home and Business?

The online version of "Home and Business Edition" is called the Self-Employed Edition.

Self-Employed Edition can prepare the same forms that Home and Business Edition can.   However, the online Self-Employed Edition can only prepare 1 Federal return per account per year, and a State return is an extra 39.99.

Home and Business can prepare multiple Federal returns with 5 free Federal efiles.  It includes a state program to prepare state returns.  There is a 24.99 fee to efile each state return, except no fee for New York state.  There is no fee to print and mail the state returns.

The Home and Business Edition also has Forms Mode that the online version does not have.  Forms Mode allows for direct viewing/editing of forms during preparation, if necessary.
