The EIN on my W-2 does not have a dash and Turbo Tax keeps putting the dash in, which means I cannot add the last number that's on my W-2. How do I input the EIN?

The EIN must be only nine digits.  Enter the nine digits and let the program put in the dash.

EINs are 9 digits. If the EIN that you were provided has 10 digits, it is incorrect and you need to speak with your payroll department for clarification.  The format is typically shown as 12-3456789, but if your W-2 shows 123456789, it is ok to have a dash between digits 2 and 3.
