Why would my deduction have gone down from 33,556 in 2017 to 18k in 2018? I understand 18K is the min for HOH, but nothing has changed that drastically.

Did you have a lot of employee business expenses last year?

The deduction for State/Local/Sales/Property tax is now capped at $10,000 total.

If you claim Mortgage Interest, be sure to say that the mortgage is secured by the property.
